I made this montage for our dear mother as a Mother's Day gift.
(Our mother was a part-time music teacher and one of our favorite family songs was……
YOU ARE MY SUNSHINE.)....
thus the title of this montage.
Shown in the black-and-white photograph taken in 1957 with a brownie camera by our mother, are me and my siblings.
The photo was actually taken in a television studio where we were performing live, on television, which was the first place prize for winning a regional talent show.
I chose to use a famous quotation for the simulated brass engraving, which says it all when I comes to our mothers.
